The Day BEFORE the 1st Day of Spring?

So, what did you do today?  Bud put his butt in this pretty white truck and headed to work at Vermont Custom Cabinetry.  Was NOT a fun drive @ 5:30 am, by the way.
Me? Well, I took a look outside and luckily I have the option and equipment to work from home.  So, today, snow day for the girls, work at home day for me.

Which location would you choose for the microwave? And why?

Ok, more snow pics, this is crazy!
What happened to the pool?
 This is pretty....but really?
Barn cats wanted to come inside, not going to happen.
Nope, you are very cute, sorry Tigg.

Buddy comes home and gets the snow blower going.  The girls are I did clean the barn (during my lunch break)!!

How do you know if pieces are warped or twisted?  They won't lay flat!
Test Fit Complete (no gaps)
Tall Cabinets Connected
Waiting for Front Frame (still needs to be built)
Glued Up Doors

This is getting exciting!

The next project...I think...

Window Seat with Tall Cabinets Left and Right
The wall sconces will limit the height, hope it all blends together.
Stay tuned!
Design Drawing...2/10/13
Advice needed from our designer friends....the cabinetry will be walnut to coordinate with the entertainment center ... thinking about painted interiors on the open shelves + color for the window seat cushion...but what color (s)?

Goodbye Christmas Tree

 It's time to say goodbye...
Since this tree was so much wider than the doorways, getting it into the house created some drama...getting it out will require some trimming...
Looks good!
Ok, where are the girls, this would make a great picture...since they could stand up under it.
Bye bye,
until next year :)
