Where's Sandy?

There she is!

Three of these oak Sandy's are spoken for...which one will stay with us and for how long? How would you decide as the grain patterns are all different?

Which would you leave behind? This could be tough, I'll keep you posted.

Bold wood grain character won out this time and made this decision easy. Nice!

See the little piece with quarter-sawn ray flake? I have to admit the oak grain is growing on me.
Walnut-Maple Skinny and Maple-Walnut Skinny
More walnut and walnut combo Sandy's to come as we stock up for the Beyond the Unicorn Christmas Craft Fair.

See you there?

Window Seat - Bookcases

Almost done.  Next are the wood tops above the bookcases, some simple molding and voila!

We need more "stuff" on the shelves!
And, maybe a bigger plant in the window.
Thoughts?

Drawers!

Lately it has been all about the drawers.
Drawer Boxes
Drawer Slides
by BLUM
Drawer Fronts
Pretty!
OK, who knows why we completely finish the back of the drawer front?
Who cares really, it won't be seen, right?
Drawer boxes are in, soft close drawer slides working great.
First drawer front ON.
What's with the blue tape?
Ready for hardware pulls and the solid wood top!
More blue tape?
We are very happy with the result!

In walnut with a natural finish. Why would anyone stain walnut dark??? To each his own...

The best part about this beautiful piece is that it is for US!
